We came across this little non descript restaraunt. In pienzaThe food in the service was exemplary. Definitely would advise to stop your as a prices or excellent in the food was perfect.
Probably we didn’t make the best choice with the food but I share it for you to make your own conclusions. We had 2 crostini + 1 side dish + water and 2 caffes = almost 40€ 🙄
Crostini we’re just ok, nothing exceptional but too expensive for what they are 🤷🏻♀️
We dined here twice during our stay in Pienza. The owner Matteo was amazing. The food cooked by his wife was buonissimo. Full of locals and wine was delicious. Love this place.
It's such a nice tiny restaurant with good food and the price is totally worth it
We really wanted to enjoy this place due to the lovely setting, however the food was a real disappointment. We had the ravioli and then the wild boar. The ravioli sauce was thin and watery and quite bland, the wild boar was very tough, almost inedible, and the sauce was extremely over powering. Such a shame!
Great lunch place when visiting Pienza. Nice and cosy atmosphere, and the menu had a bit of everything, offering option for everyone to choose.
Stopped here for lunch and had the pasta. Really reasonably priced 10-15 Euros. Staff were very attentive. Order was taken and food out within 15 mins. Location is lovely hidden away but worth the find
Lovely food, worth the money. Will be back.
